Like gOS for windows

I was reading about gOS the other day.  This is a very good idea, we already use gmail, gcalendar, gdocs, ggg, etc,...  so why do I need to always load a browser and navigate to there, bookmark it, load it, etc,...  why can't I put an icon on my windows desktop just like gOS.  That tought make the my gxxx-software a glimmer and now I am releasing initial versions of gmail, gdocs, and meebo for your windows desktop.  Each of these applications come with a built-in web browser and runs only the applicaton it is intended to run...
